Manchester City star urges caution over young teammate
Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has urged punters not to get too excited by Gabriel Jesus’ early Premier League form, per Sky Sports.
The 19-year-old Brazilian arrived from Palmeiras last month after originally signing for City in the summer. He has started two games, against West Ham and Swansea, and scored three goals.
Such is his impact, Jesus has started ahead of Sergio Aguero, but Toure has warned critique of the Brazilian should wait until the season is over.
“What we want to do is just continue to keep going and, at the end of the season, we can talk about him.
“We need to have young players because City are always a team who wants to win the league. The mentality of the club is to try to get new players in and try to do as best as possible.

“When you see Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Jesus, Sane and Raheem Sterling playing well, you realise we have a great squad with some young players.”
