Manchester City plot shock move for Real Madrid linchpin
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola wants to strengthen hisd midfield this summer and is keeping a close eye on Real Madrid star Toni Kroos, via Sky.
Kroos, 28, has been at Real since 2014, leaving Bayern Munich, then managed by Guardiola, on a free transfer.
Over the last three years, the Germany international has enjoyed great success in Spain, winning two Champions Leagues and a LaLiga title.
Guardiola’s City are a good betting tip to go far in the race for the Premier League title next season, having fallen short of expectations last season.
They finished third and exited the Champions League at the last 16 stage to Monaco and Guardiola has since come under intense pressure to deliver in his second season.
