Manchester City match Real Madrid's £113m bid in world record transfer
Manchester City have made a world record bid for one of the most talented players in European football, while Real Madrid look to match them.
The Citizens are set on splashing the cash this summer and it is, in fact, Monaco star Kylian Mbappe who they are targeting.
A massive £113m bid has reportedly been launched but there is not much indication yet to whether it has been rejected, though Monaco have explained in the past that he is not for sale under any circumstances.
So, whether this bid will even be enough to pry the Frenchman away from the Ligue 1 side is yet to be seen but with it comfortably being the world record transfer in history, there is no doubt that there would have at least have been some consideration.

Mbappe has come on the radar for almost every football fan during last season, particularly his impressive performances during the clubs run in the Champions League.
Scoring in almost every game he played, the 18-year-old went from strength to strength as his reputation grew and his doubters continued to be silenced.
Now, on the edge of greatness, the club clubs have come calling for Mbappe who now has a huge decision to make in whether he stays another season in his homeland with Monaco or whether he makes his big move at such a young age.
One thing is for certain, Manchester City and Real Madrid will be waiting with cash in hand when and if Mbappe decides to make his big move.
