Manchester City eye Ligue 1 prospect next summer
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has identified AS Monaco winger Kylian Mbappe as a summer transfer target, according to The Sun.
The 18-year-old has been in incredible form for the Ligue 1 side this season, helping them to the top of the table. He also scored against City in the Champions League last 16 first leg at the Etihad Stadium last week.
According to the report, Guardiola is willing to spend £50million on the winger, dubbed the new Thierry Henry, but the Catalan is also keen on three of his teammates.
Thomas Lemar, Benjamin Mendy and Fabinho are also on his wanted list. The trio would likely cost a further £90million combined and the French side are said to be willing to listen to offers.
Since arriving at City in the summer, Guardiola has endured the toughest spell of his career and faces a battle to secure Champions League football qualification next summer, but will look to continue his squad overhaul next summer.
