Manchester City on alert as Bayern Munich star demands regular football
Bayern Munich utility man Joshua Kimmich wants reassurances over first team football opportunities as Manchester City wait in the wings, per Manchester Evening News.
Kimmich, 22, has become one of Europe’s brightest talents in the last two years, first making his Bayern debut under now City boss Pep Guardiola.
The youngster can play in defence or midfield and is viewed as the heir to Philipp Lahm, the German legend who retired at the end of last season.
But Guardiola is a huge fan of Kimmich and would love a reunion if possible, although he does have other irons in the fire, including Monaco’s Benjamin Mendy.

Having seem him state his frustrations over the lack of first team football last term, Bayern may be growing concerned about Kimmich as he looks for promises.
Were he to join City, he would team up with both Ederson and Bernardo Silva, who have already signed on at the Etihad Stadium.
