Man United star Paul Pogba misses Juventus, according to former teammatePublished December 15, 2016
Paul Pogba is finally starting to flex his muscles at Manchester United. The world record signing has taken his time to settle in but fans have also been slow to appreciate his many qualities. Last night, he was particularly good. Not only did he score the opener at Crystal Palace, he created the winner with a no-look pass to Zlatan Ibrahimovic. It was a truly world-class piece of play.
Mind you, because all of their closest rivals in the table won, it didn’t lift United off the Premier League’s sixth spot. This is one of the reasons why Pogba is missing Turin, claims Juventus star Paulo Dybala. Speaking to Corriere dello Sport, he said: “I’m still talking to Pogba, we are missing him for his quality on the pitch and his jokes in the dressing room.
“However, he misses us as well. Just look at our position in the table and the one of Manchester United.” Juventus are currently top of the league in Serie A, four points clear of AS Roma. Surely Pogba knew that United would be a greater challenge and that was a part of the appeal?
Juventus hold a monopoly in Italy, they’ve won the last five Serie A titles.
