Manchester United are moving fast this summer. In a transfer window that is more time sensitive than usual due to the World Cup, Jose Mourinho wants his business done quickly.
So much so that United have moved on their first target of the summer, Fred Rodrigues, who is set to be announced within the next 24 hours.
Fred Rodrigues completed his #MUFC medical at Carrington today, final paperwork to be signed before official announcement in the next 24-hours.

Mourinho made it clear last season he needed far more from his current squad, and it seems that he wants to strengthen the midfield first and foremost, with it being a problem area last term and of course Marouane Fellaini set to leave – possibly for Arsenal.
Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred is set to arrive for around £52 million, and he might not be the only new player Mourinho adds to his squad this week.
United are also set to land Diogo Dalot, with Mourinho desperate to add a full back to his squad.
Fred being the first signing coming into Old Trafford this summer. Diogo Dalot will be the second with a medical pencilled in for the next 48-hours.

The former Porto player can function at both left and right back, and will be someone Mourinho hopes can make a huge difference to what has been a leaky defence at times, and one that relied on David De Gea more times than they’d have liked.
