Man United ready to sell stars to Tottenham & Chelsea ahead of Audacious move for world-class Arsenal star
Manchester United look set for a busy summer of transfer activity if reports across the British media are to be believed.
By all accounts Jose Mourinho could be set to do various deals with Premier League rivals.
Crazy Coral Offer!
The Sun reports that both Chelsea and Arsenal are taking a keen interest in bit-part player Jesse Lingard, with the 24-year-old seemingly little more than a bit-part player, and as such Mourinho could entertain offers for the England international.
Lingard has nine Premier League starts this season and though the attacker has made an impact in cup competitions he has managed just two assists and no goals in his domestic league run-outs. One imagines both Chelsea and Arsenal wouldn’t see the player as a first-team regular but may feel a move for the player could boost their home-grown quota.
Meanwhile Tottenham continue to pursue left-back Luke Shaw according to the Metro and the chance to reunite with the wide-man’s former Southampton charge Mauricio Pochettino could tempt the youngster.
Shaw has been frozen out at Old Trafford under Jose Mourinho with the 21-year-old making just seven Premier League starts this season but Spurs will have to fork out a big sum to land the defender, one would imagine a fee in excess of the £27m Manchester United paid the Saints for the England man back in 2014.
As Mourinho considers potential exits the Daily Express believes the Portuguese boss will look to bring in a massive name in the form of Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean is not enjoying a good time of it at the Emirates Stadium and come the summer the South American will have just a year to run on his contract and that will lead a number of prospective suitors taking a keen interest in the form of the one time Udinese & Barcelona man.
Sanchez has had a superb season on the field of play, bagging 21 goals and 14 assists in all competitions, but the 28-year-old seems very unhappy with the way things are going for his North London side.
He was seen laughing on the bench after he was subbed during Arsenal’s thumping defeat to Bayern Munich last week and is no closer to penning a new deal and Arsenal may elect to sell the player to avoid the loss of such a key performer on a free transfer in the summer of 2018.
Manchester United previously raided Arsenal for forward Robin Van Persie and Arsene Wenger has seen the likes of Bacary Sagna, Samir Nasri, Gael Clichy and Samir Nasri, to name just four, leave for domestic rivals and as such it’s hard to rule out a potential move to join Jose Mourinho’s side.
