Man United ready to break their transfer record TWICE next summer as Ed Woodward makes stellar spending plans
Manchester United are focused on returning to the glory days and seek further success in Europe.
Ed Woodward will stop at no cost to ensure the club wins more titles and planning two massive signings next summer.
United’s executive vice chairman added Paul Pogba last year for £89m and followed that with Romelu Lukaku’s £75m move from Everton during the latest transfer window. According to the Manchester Evening News, the shirt sales of the two stars have paved the way for further deals as the commercial exploits have been extremely lucrative.
Jose Mourinho continues to monitor Gareth Bale and Antoine Griezmann as the two superstars are on the Red Devils wish list. Each were targeted by the United boss this summer, but were unsuccessful in securing a move.
Bale could make a return to the Premier League, after leaving Tottenham for Real Madrid in 2013. The star winger would topple his previous £85m transfer as United could splash £100m for the Welsh international. Manchester have chased Bale for four years and keen to sign him if he becomes available.
Griezmann had committed his future to Atletico Madrid, however, United hope to lure the French striker. He remains a top target for the club and could take the No. 7 shirt which has been free for a major signing.
