Man United handed huge boost in race for Chelsea star as the Blues look set to sell in the summer in order to raise some cash
Manchester United have been handed a huge boost in their race for Willian, after Chelsea decided they wanted to sell the player in order to raise some cash for their summer buys.
In order to bring in the players Conte wants, Chelsea are going to have to sell, and the manager is well aware that Willian is willing to leave the club in order to get some more playing time.
The fact he managed to play in the FA Cup semi final, and was Man of the Match, and then got promptly dropped in the league, clearly means Conte simply does not fancy him as a player.
One person who does fancy him as a player is of course Jose Mourinho, who tried to bring Willian to Old Trafford in the summer, and failed, as Willian opted to stay at Chelsea.
The Blues have also been linked to Cesc Fabregas, who is another player spending the majority of his time on the bench yet manages to assist and score when he comes on.
Both players are keen to stay in the Premier League, and would look at other options. As Chelsea fans are aware, Cesc Fabregas was willing to move to the Blues despite spending time at Arsenal, so to go to another Premier League club isn’t actually out of the question.
