Man City star tipped to become England's World Cup hero
Raheem Sterling has been backed to be the man England need in the World Cup, and someone who has improved in the last year under Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.
The former Liverpool winger is getting all the plaudits of late, and his goals have been invaluable for the side who are sitting top of the table – in part because of their performances, but also because of Sterling’s goals.

It seems that not only has the player won the support of the manager and the fans, but his teammates also think he’s changed and improved for the better.
Teammate Ilkay Gundogan thinks Sterling will only get better and better, and that he has changed from last year.
The Express report he said: “What’s changed in him? Before something changes on the field there always has to be a change in your head.
PADDY POWER HAVE YOU COVERED
“He definitely looks more grown up than last year, more clinical than last year, and he just takes so many right decisions at the moment.
“It’s also about the way he does the easy things, the control, putting the ball exactly where he has the best chance to shoot it – all these easy things that last year he was a little bit more nervous with when he got the ball.
“Now he is just calm and focused and does a lot of things the right way.
At the moment it feels like he is the main man for us, by scoring these late winners. If you look at his numbers, it shows you how important for us and he is having a great season.”
