Liverpool and Spurs target closes on Juventus switch
Bayern Munich winger Douglas Costa has completed a deal with Juventus, subject to medical, despite reported interest from Liverpool and Tottenham, per Sky.
Costa, 26, has never hidden his desire to leave Bayern in search of regular first-team football, and his chances of getting that at the Allianz Arena have taken a hit by the arrival of James Rodriguez from Real Madrid.
The Brazilian, who moved to Bavaria in 2015, was allegedly wanted by Spurs and Liverpool, while Chelsea have been linked with him for a number of years, going back to when he played for Gremio and Shakhtar Donetsk.
But it appears Juve have won the race to sign him on what will likely be a initial loan deal worth around £5million.
The Italian champions are looking to build a team to go one better in the Champions League next season, having lost in the final to Real Madrid just last month.
