Liverpool ready to smash transfer record for Arsenal star
Liverpool are ready to break their transfer record this summer as they chase one of Arsenal’s most sought after players.
Jurgen Klopp will be looking to smash their transfer record to sign Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The Englishman has been linked with a move away from the London club for the majority of the season after becoming slightly frustrated at the lack of chances towards the beginning of the season.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is also going into his final year of his contract which may play into Liverpool’s hands but the club are reportedly still prepared to offer a whopping £40m for the player.

Since then the player has become somewhat of a utility player for Arsene Wenger, playing in central midfield, right-wing back and left-wing back among his natural wing positions further forward.
That has not deterred Jurgen Klopp from a move though, who is happy for the club to break their club record signing of Sadio Mane in what could be a £40m deal this summer transfer window even with his deal in its last 12 months.
Arsenal are set to offer a new bumper deal to the player so it is yet to be seen whether he is actively looking to move on from the club.
If so, Jurgen Klopp will be ready with a club record deal to attempt to try and seal a transfer that would certainly add much-needed quality to Liverpool’s side in an attempt to challenge for the Premier League title next season.
