Liverpool are reportedly considering a move for highly rated midfielder Lucas Paqueta.
The Brazilian’s agent is apparently in Liverpool, to discuss terms of a potential move.
Paqueta is a highly skilled, creative star, who can make something out of nothing in the middle of the park.
He’s already been capped twice for the Brazilian national team, and at 21-years-old, he will only get better and better.
This season, while playing his trade for Flamengo, he’s impressed enough to get interest from the Premier League, with Jurgen Klopp’s men leading the race.
Andersinho Marques of Premium Sport in Italy notes that while AC Milan, Barcelona, Man United and PSG are all keen on Paqueta, the player himself is leaning towards Liverpool.
Liverpool take on Man City this weekend, and after dropping points against Chelsea, will be looking for all three points.
City and Liverpool are of course vying for the Premier League title.
Chelsea are in the mix as well, and it’s certainly shaping up to be one of the best title races in the last few seasons.
Rivals Man United look way off the pace, and won’t even be looking at the title race, even if they beat Newcastle in the Saturday evening kick off, where they’re 30/1 to get the win with Betfair.
