LaLiga stopper the man Manchester United want to replace De Gea
Manchester United have identified Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak as the man to replace David De Gea should he join Real Madrid, per The Sun.
Oblak, 24, has impressed at Atletico since replacing Thibaut Courtois at the Vicente Calderon in 2014.
United are fearful of another swoop from Real for De Gea, 26, another ex-Atletico man. Los Blancos almost clinched a deal back in 2015, but for an issue with the paperwork to end their hopes.
The Spain international then signed a new contract at Old Trafford, but his long-term future is in doubt with the Red Devils struggling to reach the Champions League.
Jose Mourinho’s men are currently fifth in the Premier League and five points off fourth. It is unlikely De Gea would want to stay at the club if they do not qualify.

United are in the Europa League this season and may view that as the best route into the Champions League, which it will become if they win it.
