The German was asked about the referee’s decision to award Everton a late penalty after Dejan Lovren was adjudged to have pushed Dominic Calvert-Lewin over in the box.
Going away from goal, the young English forward felt the contract from Lovren on his back and went down for what many would call soft, but a penalty nonetheless.

Though, Klopp was adamant that it was not a penalty and that the referee had gotten it completely wrong and even admitted that he went and told the referee after the game that he didn’t know what he was doing.
When questioned further on the matter by the interviewer, Klopp snapped and his tone quickly changed as he then asked whether the interviewer thought it was a penalty.
After replying yes, Jurgen Klopp explained: “Well, then we can stop the interview, because I only want to talk to people who have a little bit of an understanding of football because I’m sorry, really, I can’t believe…”
After futher exchanges, Klopp boiled over.
“Can we please stop this here. Do you have three, five minutes already? Obviously, I am not in the mood to answer your question, and you don’t have the questions, do you?”
Safe to say, he was not in a good mood after the game and ell and truly lost it during his media obligations, much to the shock of all football fans who believed it was a penalty.
Even Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher went against the German boss, explaining it was 100% a penalty.
