Jose Mourinho makes huge claim about a Man United return for Ronaldo

Manchester United have been almost constantly linked with Cristiano Ronaldo since he left the club, and now, with the relationship between Real Madrid president and the player thought to be at an all time low, it seems that the player may well return to his favourite club, where of course the fans still love him.

While Jose Mourinho stopped short of issuing an out and out denial, he made it clear that Real Madrid are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and they have a top manager – so he can’t see Ronaldo returning any time soon.

In addition, the relationship between Mourinho and Ronaldo is thought to be tense, with the pair clashing during their joint time in Madrid – and also quite a bit before then, again pouring cold water on a move.

However, given United’s move for Alexis Sanchez came out of the blue, it seems that there could be a shock in store yet.

Mourinho said: “Madrid is on fire, the results are not good.

“I care about the club. I am the last one to add fire. Cristiano is the kind of player that every manager and club wants but only one manager and club can have him -(Zinedine) Zidane and Real Madrid.
