Jose Mourinho loses plot with players after latest poor result

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has blasted his players after another poor result, which saw his side drop two points against Leicester City at the King Power stadium.

United were 2-1 ahead, and then defended poorly in the last minute of added time to allow the Foxes to equalise – however that didn’t bother the manager as much as the multiple chances his side threw away – with the goal open at times and his players still failing to score, with Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard the worst offenders.

Mourinho claimed the mistakes were childish – and that his side should have easily won the game – and it seems that he made his feelings clear to the players in the dressing room both at half time and following the game to boot.

“We didn’t win because we missed incredible chances. I would say joke chances,” Mourinho told Sky Sports.
“We made a big defensive accumulation of mistakes in an easy match to win.“I talked to the players at half time when it was 1-1 that it was an easy match to win.
“The reality is that it is 2-2. Sometimes you make mistakes and are not punished by that.“I feel great. One thing to feel angry as manager and another thing to feel great as a man.“We were punished by our mistakes.

“It was an easy match to win, we did everything to win but when you lose big chances.

“Childish loss of possession, so easy. Childish in their box and childish in our box. We were punished in two points.”
