John Terry ready to speak with Premier League manager about movePublished January 12, 2017
John Terry could be sensationally about to leave Chelsea during the January transfer window.
That’s according to the Daily Mail, who think the Blues skipper is considering his future under Antonio Conte, and will at least speak with Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe about going on loan to the south Coast club.
The initial links between Chelsea star Terry and Bournemouth were shot down in the media, but it’s now believed that Terry wants to play football, and while a move to China may be considered in the summer, for now he feels that another Premier League club may be his only option.
While Terry claimed he would never play for another Premier League rival, Bournemouth are hardly in the same situation at Chelsea, and leaving for a club who just want to stay in the top flight is nothing like Frank Lampard leaving for a club who were a direct threat to Chelsea’s title charge.
Terry by most people’s view point would still be a Chelsea legend should he agree to the move, and it would certainly help Howe’s men, who have of course just lost Nathan Ake after he was recalled to, yep, you guessed it, Chelsea.
