John Terry and Frank Lampard enjoyed a wildly successful time together at Chelsea, and now it seems the pair are set to once again combine forces.
Lampard is now retired and just got the managerial job at Derby County, and has taken Jody Morris with him – and now another former Chelsea player will be joining their ranks according to the Daily Star.
John Terry has agreed to join Lampard and have one more season in the Championship, pushing for promotion after failing in the Play-Off final with Aston Villa.
The duo have a very close friendship, and have stayed in close touch since Lampard left Chelsea for Man City and the MLS, and it seems that they think linking up again can only be a good thing.
Chelsea fans will love it, and as Terry reaches the end of his career, he may also have one eye on working in a coaching capacity and will no doubt be on hand to offer Lampard advice and help the new manager as he navigates life in the Championship and indeed life as a manager for the first time.
