Highly-rated Bundesliga midfielder open to Manchester City move
RB Lepizig star Naby Keita has hinted he would like to join Manchester City in the future, despite being heavily linked with Liverpool, per Sky.
Keita, 22, played 31 times in the Bundesliga last season, helping Leipzig to qualify for the Champions League despite only gaining promotion a year ago.
If Naby Keita costs £70m+, don't ever speak to me about Paul Pogba's £89m fee ever again. Mourinho was right, it is a bargain in modern day.— Adam Joseph (@AdamJosephSport) June 26, 2017
The midfielder’s performances were so impressive it has prompted Leipzig to slap a €70million price tag on his head.
Reports suggests he wants to leave now, having shunned a move to England last summer, but he is thinking more in the long-term, admitting he likes the idea of linking up with Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium.
“I hope, however, that I have the level in two, three years and could play for one of the very big clubs,” he told Welt.
“This includes Barcelona, but it also includes Real Madrid or Manchester City.”
