He’s baaaaack.
Spurs forward Harry Kane has finally opened his account for the new Premier League season, after the England international netted during the North London side’s 4-0 demolition of Stoke City on Saturday.
The 23-year-old, was left with the easiest of tap-ins after the superb Son Heung-min had squared across goal, to leave the striker with a simple finish.
Kane, has had a torrid last couple of months for club and country, failing to register for England at Euro 2016, or for his club side, since Tottenham’s 2-2 draw against Chelsea in May.
But, it was never really in doubt that last season’s Premier League top scorer would come good, with many now backing Kane to repeat the same feat this season.
Kane’s goal at the Bet 365 on Saturday, was his 50th for Spurs, ranking him alongside some of the club’s greatest every strikers, including the likes of Jermain Defoe, and Teddy Sheringham.
In the aftermath of Kane’s strike against Stoke, Spurs fans have taken to social media to have their say.
He’s one of their own.
