Gary Lineker trolls Karim Benzema during Spurs mauling

England and Tottenham striking legend Gary Lineker has risked reigniting his public feud with Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane after appearing to poke fun at Karim Benzema on Twitter during Los Blancos’ 3-1 defeat to Spurs on Wednesday night.

Following the first meeting between the sides in Spain a fortnight ago, which ended 1-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu, Lineker angered Zidane by taking to the social media site and questioning whether French striker Benzema was overrated.

The Real boss publicly stated he wasn’t best pleased with the comments, but that doesn’t appear to have perturbed Lineker, who was anchoring the game for BT Sport.
