Roma legend Francesco Totti can hardly complain about his stunning career, but he has admitted his only regret is not having played with former Brazil striker Ronaldo.
Totti, 41, retired earlier this year after a career that spanned over 20 years with his beloved Giallorossi, with whom he won Serie A in 2001. He also helped Italy to a World Cup triumph five years later.

He played with so many of the greats, including Paolo Maldini, Alessandro Del Piero and one of the greatest strikers ever, Gabriel Batistuta, but Totti has confessed sadness at not linking up with ‘O fenomeno’.
In an interview with Corriere della Sera , he said, “[My one regret was] that I was not able to play with Ronaldo.

“It would have been a dream not only for me but also for him because I would have made him score even more.

Funnily enough, he could have linked up with the striker, who he faced during spells with Inter and Milan, at Real Madrid. Los Blancos wanted to sign Totti, but his loyalty to Roma proved too strong to ignore.
