Everton to target €20m Serie A forward as Lukaku replacement
Everton are looking to replace their star striker Romelu Lukaku with a highly-rated Serie A forward should the Belgian seek a move in the summer.
The Merseysiders are looking to Palermo striker Ilija Nestorovski as Lukaku’s replacement with his future seemingly away from the Toffees if they are unable to break the top six this season.
Lukaku has impressed for many seasons on Merseyside and is the subject of interest from Chelsea and many European giants.
Now, the club have reportedly lined up his replacement in Nestorovski who has impressed in a relegation threatened side in Palermo.
Scoring nine goals in a team that looks likely to be relegated is no easy feat, and could mean that Ronald Koeman will make a move for him in the summer window.
Other top clubs have looked to the Macedonia International such as Sevilla and Atletico Madrid.
Should Lukaku stay at the club, Everton would still be in need of extra firepower due to the lack of quality options from the bench.
Youngster Ademola Lookman and Kevin Mirallas are currently the plan B for the Toffees, with Enner Valencia and Arouna Kone seemingly not good enough for the Dutchman.
