Cristiano Ronaldo has hit out at Real Madrid, suggesting that he feels like he is part of a team now he has joined Juventus.

The 33-year-old shocked the football world when he left the Santiago Bernabéu, where he became Los Blancos’ all time top scorer during a nine year spell, for Turin.

But judging by his latest comments, Ronaldo doesn’t regret his decision to make the change.

“It is not fair to only mention some,” he said to Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport when asked about what players had impressed him.

“But I can say that this is the best group that I have played with,” he added.

“Here we are a team. In other places some feel bigger than the rest, but here they are all on the same level, they are humble and they want to win.

“If Dybala or Mandzukic don’t score, they are still happy and they smile. It’s really nice and I can see the difference.”

“It is very different from Madrid; this is a family.”

Insisting he doesn’t see the need to reunite with any former teammates at the Allianz Stadium, Ronaldo said:

“I see what they write about James, Bale, Asensio… but, to be honest, Juventus don’t need other players. You should speak to the president.”
