A Bola reports the 32-year-old Portugal international has made the “irreversible” decision to leave Real Madrid and has informed his teammates of his intentions.
So what at first just seemed like a silly rumour from A Bola, Cristiano wanting to leave Real Madrid, has now also been picked up by Record. pic.twitter.com/q0kMdRdegO— Jan Hagen (@PortuBall) 16 June 2017
Ronaldo even responded to the tax charges by posting a picture of himself on Instagram ‘shushing’ at the camera with the caption “Sometimes the best answer it’s to be quiet”.
In November 2016, Ronaldo signed a five-year contract extension but that may now be seen as a regret from the player’s perspective.
Ronaldo played a starring role in Madrid’s season, scoring 38 goals as they retained the Champions League and won the La Liga title for the first time since 2012.
Let us know if you think Manchester United should fight for a Ronaldo homecoming?
