Chelsea have been voted the most hated club in the Premier League according to a survey done by the Daily Mirror.
The Blues have become one of the biggest clubs in the league since Roman Abramovich bought them in 2003.
They have won five Premier League titles and the Champions League since, but bankrolled by the Russian’s billions, Chelsea have been accused of buying success.
But the football world’s feelings for them have been laid bare, with the survey suggesting they have beaten Manchester United as the most hated team in Britain.
Maurizio Sarri’s side earned 68.7% of the vote, with United, managed by the controversial former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, just behind with 68.1%.
Liverpool and West Ham make up the top four, with Burnley, Bournemouth and Huddersfield voted the least disliked.
