Chelsea star agrees new two-year deal at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea winger Victor Moses has signed a new contract at the club until 2021 after an impressive season, helping the Blues to the brink of a fifth Premier League table.
Moses has been at the club since 2012, but had not established himself in the first team until this season under Antonio Conte, spending time out on loan at Stoke City, Liverpool at and West Ham United.
It appeared that he would never make it with Chelsea, but his superb form this year has been a surprise to all, except Conte, who has made him a key player in his 3-4-3 formation, playing as the right wing back.
Speaking of his new deal, the 26-year-old Nigerian said: “I feel very excited. I’m delighted to be here for another few years now and to sign a new deal. Now it’s time to concentrate on the team and keep working hard to make sure we win games and try to win the Premier League this season.
“We’re having a great season, I’m enjoying my football and we have a good manager here that has given every single one of us confidence. I just want to keep on enjoying it and working hard for the team.”
