Chelsea Fans Worry For Thibaut Courtois' Future After Club Tweet
Belgium are preparing to face Panama in their opening group game on Monday afternoon, but Chelsea fans are now worrying over Thibaut Courtois’ future.
The Red Devils are in England’s group and are expected to it win it, with many actually tipping them to be dark horses in the tournament generally. Having performed well in their warm up games, they are expected to ease past their first opponents in Sochi.
Eagle-eyed Blues fans spotted a tweet from Chelsea’s official account wishing their players Eden Hazard and Michy Batshuayi luck for the match, mysteriously leaving out Thibaut Courtois.
The tweet has since been deleted, but viewers were quick to pull the club up on the goalkeeper’s exclusion.
No wonder courtois wants to leave when you’re forgetting him off of tweets smh.— Charlie 💕 (@CharlieMarie129) June 18, 2018

Rumours are rife that Courtois will be leaving Stamford Bridge, with Real Madrid the obvious option. His ex-partner lives, whom he met during a three-year loam spell with Atletico Madrid, lives there with their two children.
But any decision on his future will likely be made after that of manager Antonio Conte is sorted.
