Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus has put Liverpool fans on red alert after his goal celebration in the Bundesliga clash with Augsburg last Sunday.

The 28-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield ever since his former boss Jurgen Klopp took over in 2015, but nothing concrete has ever been reported. Injuries have hampered Reus’ career in the last four years, though, ever since he missed out on Germany’s successful World Cup campaign in 2014.

But by seeming to celebrate his goal last week by mixing the trademark celebrations of Reds stars Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane, he appears to have sparked excitement among the Kop.

Quite where Klopp would fit his former player in his side, with Firmino, Mane and Mo Salah, who has become the first player in four years to score more than 30 goals for Liverpool, all in such great form.
