FC Barcelona are a football club known for their philosophy, which runs right through the club from the first team to the academy.
Their motto is “more than a club”, and it centres on more than just football. Their playing style is instantly recognisable, but they believe in a way of living, too. Respect is crucial to playing for Barcelona, as the under 14s showed in a recent match.

Barça met FC Persimmon in the quarter finals of the Junior Soccer World Challenge, winning 11-10 on penalties. Understandably, their opponents were heartbroken by the defeat, but they showed their class by consoling them brilliantly.
The club’s official website summed up the event and their pride was clear.
“The reaction of the Barça players has been immediate. They have approached the opponent and have begun to embrace the players one by one giving them consolation,” they said.
“A gesture that has been appreciated by the technical staff of the FC Persimmon team and by the spectators who have applauded the players of the Infantil B when they have retired to the locker room.”
