Barcelona star alerts suitors by refusing to comment on future
Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has refused to commit his long-term future to the club, sparking rumours of a departure, per Sky.
Iniesta, 32, is a legendary figure at the Camp Nou having played a key role in the most successful era in the club’s history.
But with his contract running out at the end of next season, his future is far from secure, and he added fuel to the fire by not committing to the club, claiming his focus is elsewhere.
“You have caught me out with that question right now,” he told reporters.
“Tomorrow we are putting everything on the line collectively and individually, and nothing has changed from what I said last time.
“At the end of the season I will weigh up a lot of things and we will see. My hopes and wishes have not changed, but this is not the best time to be talking about it.”
