Barcelona and Manchester United star hacked on social media
If you say something daft during a press conference or an interview, you’re going to have to own up to some consequences.
But if you say something stupid on Twitter?
Say it was someone else or that you’ve been hacked.
Of course, hacking is genuine. It happens regularly now that everything is online with key information released, inappropriate jokes and hoaxes doing the rounds.
There have been two incidents involving the football work during the past 24 hours.
Firstly, Barcelona had their official accounts hacked as tweets falsely announcing the signing of Angel Di Maria surfaced.
I, for one, couldn’t help but make a joke about the situation.
Then, Manchester United new boy Romelu Lukaku had his Instagram account hacked but it was Cristiano Ronaldo who had to deal with the trolling.
It’s all fun and games until Ronaldo throws a strop about Messi being the better player!
