Arsene Wenger makes utterly sensational claim about Arsenal future
In news that will horrify the majority of Arsenal fans, Arsene Wenger has claimed he wants to stay at the club for years to come.
In recent weeks, his future has been under increasing scrutiny, and it had been thought he may well leave at the end of the season, after the Gunners annual collapse came about at the turn of the year.
Despite that, Wenger thinks he has a future at the club – a long term future, and is looking to do a Fergie and stay at the north London side until his career in management is over.
He said: “Maybe I can do more than four years, more, maybe less. I don’t know.
“I’m not making threats about leaving. My preference is always to manage Arsenal.
“I have shown that throughout my time with the club.”
That is certainly not what fans will want to hear, with many managers linked with the job, and the majority of Arsenal fans desperate for change in their club.
The futures of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are still unclear, and the latest news from their manager may well make their decision about staying for them.
As for the fans, we eagerly await the social media meltdown.
