Arsenal target stunning £123m Treble Raid: Barcelona, PSG & Chelsea Deals Closer to Completion
Arsenal Transfer News
Arsenal are on the hunt for further reinforcements and planning several big moves before the summer transfer window closes. Arsene Wenger has his sights on Lucas Moura, Thomas Lemar, and Jean Michael Seri which could cost the Gunners £123m.
Lucas Moura has found himself the likely man out after Neymar joined Paris Saint Germain for a record £200m. Arsenal are looking to swoop in for the winger, and ready for another bid after their initial proposal rejected. Lucas scored 19 goals last season, and striving to become a regular starter in the Premier League.
The North London club have had three bids rejected for Lemar this summer, however, Monaco are holding out for £50m. The Gunners are in a four-way battle to land the French midfielder, as Liverpool and Manchester City expressed interest in the 21-year-old and Barcelona joining the race.
Arsenal are also hoping to bring Seri from Nice to the Emirates. The 26-year-old midfielder could add depth to the squad, as Wenger continues to monitor the progress of the Ivorian.
The Gunners are preparing these bids in case stars leave the club this summer. Alexis Sanchez has been targeted by Europe’s top clubs and Monaco are ready to offer a £45m bid to land the Chilean star.
Chelsea are ready to splash £35m to land Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Antonio Conte is stepping up his efforts to acquire their London rival’s winger. The 23-year-old has only one year remaining on his contract, and needing reinforcements in their title defense.
Everton could also surprise Arsenal with a £30m bid for Danny Welbeck if they can’t secure Olivier Giroud. Ronald Koeman needs another top striker after sending Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United for £75m.
