Arsenal star admits to frustrations at team performances this season
Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez admits he is frustrated with the lack of a sustained Premier League title challenge at the Emirates Stadium this season, per Sky.
Sanchez, 28, has shown visual outbursts of disgruntlement at times this season, which has only served to add fuel to speculation over his long-term future.
With just a year left on his contract at the club and no imminent sign of a renewal, Sanchez has been linked with moves to Manchester City, Chelsea and Bayern Munich among other clubs.
He believes the team has not performed to their full potential this season, with results needing to go their way for Champions League qualification as the campaign comes to a close on Sunday.
When asked why he had been so angry on the pitch, he said: “Because sometimes when I look at the team we have and the players here… because when it comes to winning the Premier League we often lose or draw against teams at home when we are superior.

“Sometimes the frustration more than anything is about the fact we could be challenging for the Premier League title.
“I’ve always said we have great players here, it’s just about having the mentality of being a great player and going out on to the pitch already thinking about winning.”
