Arsenal have been linked with a £27million move for Lille winger Nicolas Pepe in January as they look to replace Danny Welbeck.
The England wing-forward was seriously injured in the Europa League clash against Sporting Lisbon earlier this month.
His contract is running out and it appears Arsenal are looking for immediate alternatives.

Pepe has been in impressive form for Lille in Ligue 1 this season, scoring eight goals and making five assists in 13 games.
The Gunners’ biggest rivals Tottenham are also said to be monitoring the player and both clubs could go head-to-head for him.
A new signing could really boost Unai Emery’s chances of getting the team into the Champions League this season. They have been in great form for much of the season, going on a 13-game unbeaten run.

In terms of Welbeck, Arsenal could offer him a new deal due to a moral responsibility to support players through long-term injuries.
