Arsenal defender has said this about Alexis Sanchez
Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi says his teammate Alexis Sanchez can play for any club in the world, but still hopes he signs a new contract at the club, per the Daily Mirror.
Sanchez, 28, has been heavily linked with a move to re-unite with former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola at Manchester City this summer, while Bayern Munich are also keen.
The Chilean is currently on Confederations Cup duty, but his contract runs out next year so his future will undoubtedly take priority soon.
Mustafi, who joined the Gunners from Valencia last summer, claims Sanchez is one of the world’s best, and admitted it would be tough to see him go.
“Of course I hope he stays. It would be a pity to lose him,” he said.

“Alexis is an exceptional player — for me one of the best in world football. I have experienced few players who are as hungry as him. He is nimble, agile, but despite his size very sturdy, and can dribble past players. Alexis is a complete player.
“As soon as he is on the ball, everyone knows: something can happen. Once he has made his way to the front of the goal, you will not be able to take the ball.
“He can slow down at full speed and hit a hooked shot – you never know what to plan next minute.
