AC Milan to offer Tottenham Hotspur misfit summer redemption
Italian giants AC Milan are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur flop Moussa Sissoko this summer, per Calcio Mercato via Sky.
The France international only moved to White Hart Lane from Newcastle United at the start of the season in a deal worth a staggering £30million, having been relegated with the Magpies last term.
But Sissoko has struggled to establish himself under Mauricio Pochettino, with a string of poor performances restricting him to just 16 appearances in the Premier League this term.
The powerful central midfielder, who can also play out on the right wing, struggled to find consistent form at Newcastle during his three-and-a-half year spell in the North East, but showed what he could do with an impressive Euro 2016 campaign in the summer.
Once again this season, Milan have not challenged at the top of Serie A, currently sitting in seventh place under boss Vincenzo Montella.
Qualification for Europe is looking unlikely for the Rossoneri, meaning Sissoko’d interest in a move may not be too high, but he would likely get more first team action at the San Siro.
