Football is finally on its way back, and here at Freebets.co.uk we can hardly contain our excitement!
Following the resumption of the German Bundesliga in in May, it’s all happening in June – from La Liga to the Premier League and beyond.
We’ve got everything covered ahead of the restarts, including free bets, promotional offers and of course betting tips.
First there’s the return of La Liga on Wednesday, June 11 followed by the resumption of the Premier League on June 17. The Championship will return a few days later (June 20) with Serie A being the last to get going (June 22).
On top of all that, the FA Cup will be played to a finish, resuming with quarter finals on June 27 & 28 and a date for the final set on August 1.
All games are to be played behind closed doors, which is going to be fascinating to watch.
The Bundesliga returned weeks ago, and we have seen more away wins than normal so far in Germany. Smaller leagues such as those in Austria and Greece have also started back. Switzerland is another small league to restart, that will be coming on June 19.
Ligue 1, the Eredivisie and the Scottish Premiership have all ended for the season.
Spain’s La Liga will return on Thursday June 11, with Sevilla and Real Betis playing El Derbi Sevillano. Barcelona currently lead La Liga by two points, with Real Madrid in behind them.
The battle for Europe will also be fascinating to watch, there are just five points between third placed Sevilla and seventh placed Valencia.
Down at the bottom, Mallorca, Leganes and Espanyol are currently in the relegation zone. However, the three teams above them, Celta Vigo, Eibar and Valladolid are all still in trouble.
The league is scheduled to finish on July 19, which means just over five weeks for 11 rounds of games to be played.
The Premier League is scheduled to return on June 17. Two games in hand will be played on that Wednesday – Man City v Arsenal and Aston Villa v Sheff United – to even things up before nine full rounds are played, starting with a full fixture list across the weekend of 19-22 June.
Liverpool are in complete control of the title and should officially claim it in their first couple of games back.
The best action may involve those fighting to finish in the top four. Can Chelsea hold onto the last spot, or will Manchester United overtake them? Chelsea are 8/13 to finish in the top four with BetVictor while Manchester United are 7/4 with William Hill.
Down at the bottom it looks like being any three from six clubs, with eight points covering all six. Norwich are six points away from safety and in severe trouble, but as for the other two spots these are well and truly up for grabs.
The second tier of English football will return on June 20, the same as the first weekend back for the Premier League to provide a feast of English football.
Nine rounds are remaining, and the league is hoping to finish towards the end of July to allow the playoff final to be played at the very end of July.
Leeds are in the driving seat for promotion right now and they are 2/5 with BetVictor to win the league.
West Brom are in second but have Fulham chasing them down for the other automatic spot.

Down at the bottom there are many teams in the battle. Eight teams are separated by eight points, three of them will go down and every single point is going to be crucial. Hull have not won in 11 games and are 17/10 with Paddy Power to be relegated as they continue to slide down the table.
It would have been no surprise to see the FA Cup abandoned for the season, but cup football will return in England!
The quarter finals will be played across the weekend of June 27 & 28, semi finals will take place in July with the final scheduled for August 1.
Serie A was the first league to stop and will be the final major league to resume, with games set to return on Monday 22 June.
One point separates Juventus and Lazio at the top of the table, thought Juventus are strong favourites to win the title. They are 2/5 with Bet365 to land another Serie A championship.
The final relegation spot looks set to be a fascinating watch too. Lecce are currently occupying that, but three points covers five teams so anything could happen.
The Bundesliga started back on May 16 and things have gone really well, with an expected finish date of June 27 and five rounds left to play.
The Champions League and Europa League could be finished in August, with plans in place. Unconfirmed reports suggest a restart on August 7 with games played twice a week until the finals takes place at the end of August.
Manchester City are currently 11/4 favourites to win the Champions League with BetVictor while Manchester United are 11/4 favourites with 888Sport to win the Europa League.
