First it was February and then it was May: after two cancellations, Jose Carlos Ramirez and Viktor Postol finally get it on for the WBC and WBO super-lightweight titles.
Ramirez is unbeaten in 25 contests and looks the real deal in the 140 pound division.
Postol is a wily veteran who has never been stopped despite suffering two defeats in world title opportunities.
Will it be a successful defence for Ramirez, or will “and the new…” be screamed inside the Bubble?
When is the fight?
The fight lands on Saturday 29th August.
Where is the fight?
The Bubble, MGM Grand, Las Vegas, USA will host the fight.
Jose Carlos Ramirez
Ramirez is considered one of two top dogs at 140 pounds.
The WBO and WBC champion has stopped 17 of his 25 victims and at 28 years is fast approaching his peak in the sport of boxing.
Josh Taylor holds the other straps in the super-lightweight division, and both men are on a collision course to determine who can call themselves undisputed at the weight.
Ramirez is a powerful, classy and technical fighter who is willing to trade in the inside.
He underlined his tenacity in beating Maurice Hooker last summer in one of the fights of the year, scoring a sixth-round TKO.

The “Iceman” is winding down after a fantastic career.
Scooping the WBC world title against Lucas Matthysse is the standout achievement on the Ukrainian’s CV, going on to lose the title to Terence Crawford a year later in a one-sided shutout.
Postol is 36 years old but is still managing to forge opportunities in the deep end of the super-lightweight division.
He’s only lost to the very best, but with only two knockouts since 2013 his lack of power has held him back at the very top.

Ramirez vs Postol betting odds, prediction & tip
Ramirez is a heavy, heavy favourite but Postol offers the champion the opportunity to underline just how good and adaptable he can be in a fight.
The power and aggression of Ramirez make him really fun to watch but against the old, experienced head of Postol he may have to think as well as throw.
Postol is good at dictating the distance and will look to tie Ramirez up when he gets in close. His left counter can’t be slept on and, despite being dropped four times in his last five fights, he is yet to be stopped.
We think Postol will frustrate Ramirez in pockets, but the class of the champion will shine through.
