2 Goals Ahead Early Payout Offer

4.82/1 Saturday accumulator with Bet365

  • Newcastle vs West Ham BTTS
  • Chelsea to beat Burnley
  • Tottenham to beat Luton
  • Brentford vs Manchester United over 2.5 match goals
  • Aston Villa vs Wolves over 1.5 match goals

Our first pick is Newcastle and West Ham’s tie to see both teams score. Newcastle have had a rough 2023/24 compared to last campaign but they are solid at home, scoring over half their goals at St James’ Park this season. West Ham are also better on the road, meaning both teams should be close to their best for this encounter, which is what you want for BTTS.

Furthermore, nine of Newcastle’s last 10 Premier League matches have ended with both teams scoring, while West Ham have seen their last four league games have both teams score.

Next up is Chelsea to beat Burnley at Stamford Bridge. The Blues have been far from their best this term but they have won four of their last five home matches. Burnley, on the other hand, have secured just two victories away from home in 2023/24, scoring 15 – the second lowest in the PL – and conceding 35 – the second most in the division.

Another fairly straightforward pick is up next with Tottenham backed to beat Luton Town at home. Spurs have won 10 and lost four in north London this season, but those four losses came against solid opposition; Aston Villa, Chelsea, West Ham and Wolves. Luton, on the other hand, have won only two of their 14 league games in 2023/24 when playing away from Kenilworth Road.

Moving away from wins, our next pick is Brentford vs Manchester United to see over 2.5 match goals. Nine of Manchester United’s latest 10 Premier League ties have ended with at least three goals and the return of Rasmus Hojlund should only increase United’s chances of scoring more. Brentford have also become accustomed to high-scoring matches of late, with five of their last six ending with over 2.5 goals. Furthermore, four of the five meetings between these two sides since the Bees won promotion to the top-flight have ended with a minimum of three goals.

Saturday’s acca is rounded out by Aston Villa vs Wolves to have over 1.5 match goals. Villa are at home for this game and are generally more prolific on their own turf. The Midlands-based outfit’s last eight league games have all ended with at least two goals, while their last five clashes at Villa Park had an average of 4.4 goals per game.

4.77/1 Sunday accumulator with Bet365

  • Liverpool to beat Brighton & over 1.5 match goals
  • Manchester City Double Chance vs Arsenal, BTTS & over 2 yellow cards shown

Our first pick for Sunday’s double is Liverpool to beat Brighton and over 1.5 match goals. The Reds are at home vs the Seagulls and are yet to lose a game at Anfield in 2023/24.

As for the over 1.5 match goals, Jurgen Klopp’s side are averaging 2.7 goals a game when playing on home soil this term, meaning any goal from Brighton would be just a helpful bonus.

Sunday’s double is rounded out by Manchester City to beat or draw with Arsenal, BTTS and over 2 yellow cards shown.

Starting with the result, Manchester City are unbeaten at the Etihad in 2023/24 and have not lost to Arsenal there since January, 2015. However, we have opted for Double Chance because Arsenal have won all eight of their Premier League games played in 2024 so far and beat Manchester City at the Emirates earlier in the campaign.

This, in turn, sets up the tie nicely for both teams to score. Manchester City have scored in all of their games at home so far this season and have only been shut out twice in the entire campaign – versus Aston Villa and Arsenal away from home. As for Mikel Arteta’s side, they have scored 34 times when playing away from the Emirates this term – the most of any PL club – and averaged four goals per game in their last five away clashes.

Finally, given the rivalry between these two sides and how important Sunday’s match is in the title race, there are expected to be plenty of cards shown. There were five yellow cards shown during the reverse fixture at the Emirates in October and the high-stakes nature of this game means a similar number is very likely on Sunday.

Premier League Outright Tips

A new Premier League season is upon us, and we look set for another blockbuster season from the most watched league in the world! Arsenal picked up the first piece of silverware of the season by claiming the Community Shield, could that be the building block for Mikel Arteta’s men to bring down Manchester City’s castle? In this article I take a look over outright markets which I think might pose a bit of value over the course of the season as single bets.

As to be expected Manchester City dominate a lot of the markets and are short prices in many areas such as ‘To Lift The Trophy’ where they are priced at 5/6 with Bet365 and player markets like the golden boot where Erling Haaland is 4/6 to score the most goals in the league. The golden glove is also laced with City favouritism with Ederson coming in at evens and you will find Kevin De Bruyne leading the market for the top assists at the end of the season at 11/4 with Bet365. These sorts of prices don’t inspire me over the course of a season, I want something a bit juicier…

PFA Player of the Year - Rodri 50/1

I have gone for a bold shout with my PFA Player of the Year so if you are taking a punt with me I definitely recommend small stakes. Rodri was a colossal figure for Manchester City last season and scored the goal that completed their famous treble against Inter Milan in the Champions League final. When I watched City play last season I felt the player most in control of everything was Spain’s holding midfielder and his influence in front of an already strong back-line is going to make City a horrible prospect for every team this season.

With Gundogan having left there is a void left in the middle of the park but I have a feeling we will see Rodri step up and own this Manchester City midfield and turn it into his own beast, allowing the likes of De Bruyne who is coming towards the backend of his career and Bernardo Silva to flourish. Rodri now plays the role of the Busquets ‘Barcelona era and he plays it very effectively and with limited minutes for Kalvin Phillips last season it showed how vital he is to this teams success. With the additions City have made to their defence I expect them to be conceding a lot less goals this season and I think Rodri will marshal the middle of the park and dictate the tempo. Much like Kante at Leicester City in 2016/17 where a holding midfielder picked up the award I am thinking that there will be some sort of appreciation for the role of Rodri.

Manchester City to win Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup 70/1

Last season Manchester City completed a famous treble but could they take it one step further this season? Their new backline looks to be a wall that is going to be very difficult to break down with the addition of Josko Gvardiol and Joao Cancelo coming back into the team offers some more creative options again from the full-back positions. I had my doubts about their midfield having the same levels as last season but City at 70/1 to win all four trophies has certainly caught my eye with Pep looking for legacy at the Etihad Stadium.

Top Assists Trent-Alexander Arnold 8/1 with Betway

The clear market leader is Kevin De Bruyne but I have questions over his fitness and whether Pep will look to rotate KDB more next season. Last year De Bruyne was hampered by injuries and coming into the twilight of his career I think we will see his minutes in the Premier League potentially reduced and used for more important games. For me there looks to be some value in another assist king in Trent Alexander-Arnold at 8/1. We already saw at the backend of last season that TAA could be taking up a new role within the team in the middle of the park and for England we even saw him operating as a number 8. He clearly thrived in the role with his vision, and with Liverpool having sold Milner, Henderson, Keita and Fabinho in the summer transfer window there is now a massive void left in the midfield area.
