Premier League Manchester City v Bournemouth Betting PredictionsPublished September 15, 2016
City announced themselves as the clear title favourites when they dominated Manchester United at Old Trafford in last week’s electrifying derby. They scored two but could have easily bagged four or five. Going forward, Pep Guardiola’s side are irresistible. Sergio Aguero is still banned but City have an able deputy in Kelechi Iheanacho. Not to mention his merry band of deputies.
It’s not really fair or accurate to describe Kevin De Bruyne as that, though. The Belgian calls the shots and orchestrates from his playmaking role behind the striker. He’ll be supported by fellow slippery fish Sterling, Nolito and Silva. These fish have bite though. They’ll take a chunk out of you before they flop back into the sea. Except that wouldn’t happen because you wouldn’t catch them.
Defensively, however, City leave much to be desired. Claudio Bravo has had a dodgy start to life in England and John Stones has question marks hanging over him. Bournemouth might be able to exploit this but any goals they get will be consolation efforts.
