Arsenal v Man Utd Betting Predictions – Back A Score Draw with Bet365
It was once inconceivable that neither Arsenal nor Manchester United would miss out on the Premier League title. More recently, other clubs have usurped the former powerhouses, but it shows just how far they have fallen that they could both may miss out on Champions League football for next season.
United could qualify by virtue of winning the Europa League, but whatever happens, it is rather sad that the meeting between the two clubs at the Emirates Stadium has no baring on where the trophy will end up in May.
But it will reignite one of the fiercest personal rivalries in recent years as Arsene Wenger locks horns with Jose Mourinho once again. It is well documented that the pair do not see eye to eye, but it is the latter who has more of the bragging rights. Mourinho is yet to lose to Wenger, and we don’t see that changing here.

A good bet for this Premier League fixture is a draw, because Arsenal have struggled but turned their form around lately, while United are very solid in defence, particularly away from home, in typical Mourinho fashion. The Portuguese loves nothing more than to frustrate opponents, having previously stated it is better not to lose to immediate rivals and win against everyone else. A 0-0 draw at the Emirates Stadium all but secured the title for his Chelsea side two years ago.
But Mourinho’s problem this year has been a failure to beat everyone else, adding pressure to the game here. Draws against the likes of Burnley, Stoke and Middlesbrough at home have tempered what is actually a very good unbeaten record. Injuries in defence will also make it tough, meaning the visitors may sit even deeper, but the absence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front means the pace of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial could cause real problems.
Arsenal will be in a good position to break down any low United block. The formation recently being used by Wenger, a 3-4-2-1, allows Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez to get in behind Paul Pogba and either Ander Herrera or Michael Carrick.
Both sides have their qualities, but Mourinho has a record to protect and he will be content with the draw, which is how this game will end up.
