Arsenal vs Chelsea Betting Preview | Chelsea Draw No Bet 24/19 Paddy PowerPublished September 22, 2016
In what is arguably the clash of the weekend, Arsenal host Chelsea with both teams coming off the back of big midweek wins. The hosts are in particularly good form, picking up four wins from their last five games and scoring 14 goals in the process. New boy Granit Xhaka opened his account in last weekend’s victory at Hull before bagging again in the Cup win at Forest.
Chelsea have looked slightly unconvincing in recent weeks in this Premier League betting season after a strong start to the campaign. People might read too much into the re-signing of David Luiz but there’s no doubt that the Brazilian defender has his flaws and that they can be exploited by clever opponents.
Diego Costa came off the bench for the Blues in their comeback win at Leicester and despite failing to score, he was absolute purring. The Spain international has been a thorn in Arsenal’s side in recent meetings and we expect him to be the difference on Saturday evening.
