Premier League Accumulator Tip: Arsenal and Chelsea to take victories in tight four-foldPublished September 7, 2017
The Premier League returns after the international break this week, and with it there are a number of huge games. The highlight comes from the Etihad Stadium, where Manchester City face Liverpool, but Everton hosting Tottenham and Chelsea travelling to Leicester ensure it will be an entertaining weekend.
Here is our latest acca tip, this week coming from Bet365.
Manchester City vs Liverpool – Draw @ 14/5
First, the big one and both Manchester City and Liverpool will be confident of victory. The two title chasers have had similar starts to the new season, each winning two and drawing one of their opening three games.
The Reds have perhaps been more convincing after beating Arsenal 4-0 last week, but they will come up against one of Europe’s most feared attacks. This game has been tough to call in recent years and like last season’s meeting at the Etihad, it will likely end honours even.
Leicester City vs Chelsea – Chelsea win @ 8/11
Chelsea head to the King Power Stadium with the possibility of combining Leicester’s Premier League title winning pair of Danny Drinkwater and N’Golo Kante. But the Foxes will be strong enough to threaten Antonio Conte’s men.
With Jamie Vardy, Kelechi Iheanacho and Riyad Mahrez in attack, Craig Shakespeare has good options, provided his side can get past the midfield. But with both sides preferring to counter attack, the likelihood is the outcome will be decided late on by who has the most quality. That team is clearly Chelsea.
Brighton vs West Brom – Draw @ 2/1
Coming up to the Premier League, it is vitally important that teams start quickly but Brighton remain the only newly promoted side without a win this season. They return to the Amex Stadium having not yet shown much attacking ambition but face a West Brom side hardly renowned for that either.
Tony Pulis’ side are on good form though, having won two and drawn one of their three games this season. Pulis is a master at solidifying teams, meaning an away game anywhere is a good opportunity to take a point.
Arsenal vs Bournemouth – Arsenal to win @ 1/3
Both these teams will fancy coming up against one another right now, given they each are enduring tough times. Arsenal have suffered two straight defeats and failed to capitalise on the final days of the transfer window, while Bournemouth have lost all three opening matches.
But the home advantage gives Arsenal more of a chance of taking three points here. Surely the Gunners are going to pick up some form and if Alexis Sanchez is fully motivated, that should start here.
