NFL Week 13 Betting PredictionsPublished December 1, 2016
Week 12 of the NFL betting season brought a tenth consecutive victory for the Dallas Cowboys, who beat the Redskins 31-26, while the Dolphins, Giants and Raiders also continued their winning runs.
The Packers ended a run of four straight losses with a 27-13 win over the Eagles and elsewhere The Browns and 49’ers both lost once again.
Houston Texans @ Green Bay Packers (6pm Sunday)
The Texans travel to take on the Packers on Sunday looking to halt a two game losing run, as they look to hold on to top spot in the AFC South.
The Texans were beaten 21-13 by a hungry Chargers side, who had to win to keep their hopes alive, as the Texan offence was smothered throughout the match. The Packers win at the Eagles, not only stopped a run of losses, but brought Aaron Rodgers out of his shell, with an excellent Quarterback performance. Packers are hot favourites but the Texans look a good bet with a positive point spread.
New York Giants @ Pittsburgh Steelers (9:25pm Sunday)
The Giants visit Pittsburgh to play the Steelers, with both sides looking to keep the pressure on their respective divisional leaders, with games running out.
A sixth Giants win, this time over the hapless Browns, does not give us anything new to ponder, although two scoreless quarters in the match does throw a query over the offensive line. The Steelers beat the Colts by 21 and limited their opponents to one single score, as the Pittsburgh defence came out royally on top. The Steelers are favourites, but the Giants run of victories cannot be easily discounted. Giants on another positive point spread.
Carolina Panthers @ Seattle Seahawks (1:30am Monday)
The Panthers may have underperformed this season, but they travel to the Seahawks, still with a chance of a playoff berth. Despite a third quarter of 18 points, the Panthers 35-32 loss to the Raiders will have hurt Carolina, but with slim hopes still remaining, they must dust themselves down and go again.
The Seahawks have the luxury of a three win lead at the top of the NFC West, despite the 14-5 loss to the Buccaneers, who shut down the Seattle offence with ease. Both sides will be looking to bounce back from poor results, but I cannot believe the Seahawks offence will struggle as they did in the last game. Seahawks to win.
