NFL Betting Preview: New England Patriots and Denver Broncos are the best bets for Week 8Published October 27, 2016
The one and only story to dominate the headlines in week 7 of the NFL regular season, was the end of the Vikings perfect record at the hands of the Eagles, in a 21-10 defeat, as the Eagles posted arguably the best defensive performance in the NFL this season.
Elsewhere, the Browns are now 0-7 and in the defeat to the Bengals, they conceded over 600 total yards in the process. A winless season for the Browns is in real danger of happening.
New England Patriots @ Buffalo Bills (5pm Sunday)
The Patriots travel to the Bills on Sunday, with the home side looking to narrow the two game gap to their opponents in the AFC East.
The Patriots made it three consecutive wins with a 27-16 win over the Steelers, as Tom Brady continues to pull the strings after his return.
The Bills three point loss to the Dolphins, ended a run of four straight victories, as Buffalo struggled on offense. The Patriots looks in superb form at the moment and I cannot see the Bills matching Brady and co. offensively. Patriots to win well.
San Diego Chargers @ Denver Broncos (8:05pm Sunday)
The Chargers look to continue their recent run of wins against a Broncos team currently in a tight battle for the AFC West division, with both needing wins.
The Chargers pulled off a superb comeback against the Falcons last week, winning 33-30, having been seventeen points adrift in the second period.
The Broncos comfortably beat the Texans 27-9 in their last game, with the defence easily keeping Houston at bay, although an over-reliance on the running game could be an issue later down the line. The Chargers have already beaten the Broncos in week 6, however Denver will fancy some cold revenge this time around. Broncos to win a close game.
