NFL Betting Preview: Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos look strong bets for Week 4Published September 29, 2016
As we enter the fourth week of the NFL regular season, just five sides now have perfect 3-0 records, with the Philadelphia Eagles looking especially strong after beating the Steelers 34-3 last Sunday.
The Broncos, Patriots, Ravens and Vikings make up the five, as they now look for a fourth win on the spin…
Miami Dolphins @ Cincinnati Bengals (1:30am, Friday)
The Dolphins travel to the Bengals on Friday night looking to capitalise on their first win of the season against the Browns in overtime, after losses to the Patriots and Seahawks.
The Bengals have just a single victory to their name so far and come into this game off the back of defeats to the Broncos and Steelers. Bengals look the better side here though, with bookmakers making them strong odds on favourites. After a slow start offensively, the Bengals could open up.
Denver Broncos @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9pm, Sunday)
The Denver Broncos look to continue their perfect run as they travel to Florida to meet the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Broncos are looking strong in the early stages of the season, while the Buccaneers have struggled since the first day win over the Falcons, with two successive defeats and 77 points conceded with the defence seemingly on holiday.
The Broncos have the current third highest points total in the NFL at the moment and against a struggling Bucc’s defence, we could see a big score here.
New York Giants @ Minnesota Vikings (1:15am, Tuesday)
The Giants face a tough task when they take on the perfect record of the Minnesota Vikings in the final game of Week 4. After winning their opening two games, the Giants surprisingly lost to the Redskins 29-27 last week, via a last minute field goal.
The Vikings may have won three on the spin, but they have not necessarily been convincing in each victory, with their defensive strength so far masking their relative weakness in offence.
The Vikings are strong favourites to win the game, with the Giants as much as 2/1 to grab the win. Expect another strong defensive performance from the Vikings and a possible low score could be on the cards.
